Undercurrent

I dreamt bad things,

all beginning with me.

Try and focus,

but I've been fighting the deep.

I saw the signs

next to my

aching mind.

A beauty I know

if I let go

I may never feel alive.

I dream of bad things,

neverending.

And I hear the voices

crashing down on me.

And then there were ghosts

from the unknown

that I can't let go of.

Who could have known

this story would go

to finding home.

So I won't let go

I won't let go.
